Neil sitting in again while the happy couple is away. This was shot on our way home from Manitoulin Island this summer. Shot from the A.Y. Jackson lookout near Sudbury. In 1953, A.Y. Jackson, founding member of the Group of Seven, painted "Spring on the Onaping River" from this vantage point. Beautiful spot and a cool Canadian moment.

We haven't been out shooting lately. We are in the final crunch before the wedding. The only photoshop work we have been doing is restoring wedding photos for us to display. The set will be black & white, but this photo had a natural sepia to it that punched out nicely with some contrast. Thought we would share a bit with you. These are Melissa's grandparents on her Mom's side; Joffre Bruno and Jeanne D'arc.

Some kids have all the luck. Imagine hangin' out with dad on a friday night driving around in his old Ford as part of a movie. These cars were heading back to the studio after an afternoon of shooting some stuff for "Flash of Genius." We're not too sure if all the buildings in Toronto used to put the street signs on the corner of the buildings, but if you look closely at some of the older buildings you might find this. This is the Spadina Hotel, aka "Global Village Backpackers Hostel."
