*....or so the story goes. Once upon a time, Ryan suggested to Melissa that they start a 'blog'. To which Melissa said, "We are not blog people!" And so here we are. We are teaching ourselves photography, taking the camera everywhere with us. This little blog is meant to show off shots we are proud of, and to give you a glimpse into our adventures. Comments always welcome!

Tremblant

«« prev next »»

Well I have been meaning to post these one-a-day this week, but that didn't really happen. Soooo here is a handful of shots from our weekend in Tremblant. -Ryan

Tremblant Bottom of Hill

At the bottom of the hill.

Too Cool

Too cool for school.

Ry & Meli

Some couple.

Ry & Fi

Fiona and Ryan L.

Maple Syrup Taffy

Maple Syrup Taffy. We are such tourists.

Shuttle to Parking Lot

Aboard the shuttle bus back to the parking lot. This was on our last day. On the day we actually went skiing, we parked on the north side of the mountain with the rest of the locals away from the resort and tourists. I have never been with the locals. It was quite a party. The warm weather was perfect for a giant tailgate party where people could ski to their truck, fire up the bbq and crack open a beer.

Geralds Flaming Sambuca Scallops

Ryan L. handled a lot of the cooking. While he does cook a mean steak, Gerald (Fiona's Dad), steals the show with his Flaming Sambuca Scallops.

Geralds Wine Rack

Gerald is converting the cottage laundry room into a wine cellar. This is the start. Oh, and this is only half. The rest is on the bottom shelf

Daddy's Refuge

I think every father has his own little sanctuary. A place to get away from it all, be it the garage, wood shop, etc. Even my friend Adam has a corner of the apartment he can call his own. -Ryan

Church

It's been waaaaaay too long since I got out and did some exploring. Met up with some other likeminded individuals today to check out this old vacant church. I am just posting this quick shot so you have some perspective on what it looks like before I post more.

Crafternoon

It was a Sunday "Crafternoon" at Adam and Michelle's. Michelle worked on her needlepoint while the gang gathered around the table and hand-painted designs on "ones-ies" for the new baby.

One's going east, the other’s going west. So what?

As soon as I saw Melissa and the dogs standing like this, I immediately thought of the Dog Painting scene from Goodfellas.
