For Christmas this year, Neil & Veronica put together a photo book made up of the photos Melissa & I post on our "photoblog". I was quite excited when I got it. Melissa took it with us to Quebec to show just about all of her family and friends. A serendipitous extension of this gift was that we were able to see people's reactions, and hear their compliments first hand, pretty much for the first time. It felt kinda nice, and it is appreciated. However, "the fates" are keeping me "honest" because anytime I tried to take a picture of the book, it came back out of focus. :P

Again, thank you Neil & Veronica, this is truly a wonderful Christmas present.

Tonight's snow storm has me taking a stroll down memory lane. Shot while skiing at Whistler. This is one end of the "Peak to Peak" gondola that will take you from the peak of Whistler to the Peak of Blackcomb in 15 min. -Ryan

On my last day in Whistler the sun started to poke through the clouds at the peak. This is shot from the Whistler village-to-peak gondola. Looking at Blackcomb. Pretty much stickin' the camera out the window and firing away. Flying back to Toronto tonight. More pics to come after I get myself settled.

I shot this on my last night at the Vancouver facility. Every night for the last three months I have stepped out of my suite to see this. I have lovingly named it "The Grey Mile".
