*....or so the story goes. Once upon a time, Ryan suggested to Melissa that they start a 'blog'. To which Melissa said, "We are not blog people!" And so here we are. We are teaching ourselves photography, taking the camera everywhere with us. This little blog is meant to show off shots we are proud of, and to give you a glimpse into our adventures. Comments always welcome!

Crab
«« prev | next »»

-shot by Silvio The Cuban Security Gaurd.
Funny little story about this one. Melissa and I were out on one of the docks taking some night shots. A security gaurd walked over to say hello and started asking us questions about the camera. Through some broken english, broken spanish and many hand gestures, he wanted us to follow him because there was a good shot of a crab. We followed him to the edge of the bushes. He wanted me to hand him the camera and he would climb over the fence to take the shot. I thought, "hmmmm handing my camera over to a random cuban guy to take into the bushes? I better go in with the camera." So in I went, and no matter what I did I just couldn't spot it. So, finally, I handed our camera to the guy and said "Here you do it." This is the first shot he took. Muchos Gracias Silvio.
