*....or so the story goes. Once upon a time, Ryan suggested to Melissa that they start a 'blog'. To which Melissa said, "We are not blog people!" And so here we are. We are teaching ourselves photography, taking the camera everywhere with us. This little blog is meant to show off shots we are proud of, and to give you a glimpse into our adventures. Comments always welcome!

Gordon Downie

From our archives: G. Downie of The Tragically Hip, Dec 31 2004 New Year's Eve concert. I forgot about these pics. Here I am running around trying to master a D-SLR and this came from our old 3.1mp Fuji point-n-shoot. Neil you better dust that thing off and get shooting.

If it aint broke.....

If it aint broke.....

Home early from work so I decided to put the lights up on the tree. We got the tree "straight enough" last night, but this morning I thought "hmmmm I wonder if I can just tweak it a bit...." -Sigh- Now I have to wait for Melissa to wake up and help me put it back. I can't wait to hear what she will have to say about this.

Work Work Work

Work Work Work

I swear this is how things are starting to look at work. Too many midnight shifts. I haven't had a chance to get out much and shoot anything. I think I need to go, take a walk, and take some pics. Miss Shanghai Cowgirl, I am looking in your direction.....

Moms Stairs

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. Been sorta busy. Paid a visit out to Mom and Dad's though. This is a shot from the stairs leading to my parents basement. Mom took the rod iron from one of those gazebo/canopy thingies and made a pretty stunning decoration. -Ryan

Shitty Car

I almost missed this one. Barely got the lens cap off in time, hence the dodgy exposure and composition. And it looks like I am plugging somebody else's company. Oh well.

One from the archives. Melissa and I went in and explored the old A.R. Williams building in Liberty Village. It has now become a showroom for condos.
